CEO Taka Nagao attended TOFE during ANS Annual Meeting 

CEO Taka Nagao and his team attended the Technology of Fusion Energy (TOFE 2022) in the ANS Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA, USA. The conference features outstanding research in the field of fusion science and technology. His team presented KF´s most ambitious R&D project (release early July).

Prof. Keishi Sakamoto, Executive Officer of KF, has received the John R. Pierce Award, presented by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in USA, for his outstanding contributions and leadership in the field of vacuum electronics.  Read More

Head of Gyrotron Department, Keishi Sakamoto paid a visit to UKAEA MAST-U

Keishi Sakamoto and Head of Business Development, Yuto Yoshioka, met with Mark Henderson (pictured, Technical Expert), Helen Webster (Lead Engineer), and members of the MAST Upgrade EBW team to see the UK´s national fusion experiment at Culham Science Centre near Oxford, UK. In 2021, Kyoto Fusioneering was awarded a contract by the UK Atomic Energy Authority to provide dual frequency microwave heating sources (gyrotrons) for MAST Upgrade.

CTO Satoshi Konishi panelist at TOFE conference 

CTO Satoshi Konishi joined the fusion panel discussion "The New Fusion Outlook" facilitated by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) ’s Lead Fusion Coordinator Scott Hsu at American Nuclear Society.
Other esteemed panelists and leader in their fields discussed the new fusion outlook.

Dr Richard Pearson took part in IAEA technical meeting                     

Chief Innovator Dr. Richard Pearson attended (IAEA) meeting on synergies between fission & fusion energy. His key message was: "The 2020s needs to be seen as the age of fusion industrialisation: the investment of time, effort and capital in this decade is the foundation for commercial fusion in the 2030s."
